Itinerary
Day 1 :
Day 1 :
• Arrive Bangalore , meet and transfer to hotel ( check in 1200 hours)
• Pm proceed for half day tour of Bangalore covering Lalbagh Botanical garden, Bull Temple and Tippu's Palace.
• Overnight
Day 2 :
Day 2 :
• Am drive to Galibeedu ( 250 km/6 hours). Arrive by evening, at Mojo Rainforest Retreat, welcome and settle in, campfire dinner..
• Overnight at Mojo Rainforest Retrea
Day 3 :
Day 3 :
• Full day trek. depart after breakfast and walk through a forested valley onto a very scenic ridge between 2 ranges of hills. then walk down to a stream to have lunch and relax. walk along the stream for about 5 km and camp near a stream near Kaloor Village.Overnight Tented Camp
Day 4 :

• Am trek towards Galibeedu village through abandoned tea estate and upto Nishani mol peak (packed lunch) and back to Rainforest retreat.
• Overnight Mojo Rainforest Retreat
Day 5 :

• After breakfast and depart to Masinagudi.Arrive and check in at Jungle Retreat. Jungle Retreat is a wildlife resort near Masinagudi village located outside Madumalai National Park . This park is located at foothills of the Niligiris.
• Pm proceed for Jungle Excursion in forest department van.
• Overnight Jungle Retreat

• Am proceed for a day return trek. Overnight Jungle Retreat
Day 7 :
Day 7 :
• Am Morning trek from Jungle Retreat up the foot hills to the village of Sholur near Ooty. This climb takes you from 3000 ft. to 6500 ft. in around 4 hours through a gradually climbing jungle trail offering spectacular views. You will pass through decideous forests and streams over a stretch of around 8-9 kms. You may see Elephants and Bison along the way!. Lunch at Sholur. Then continue the walk through Tea Gardens where tea pickers are likely to be at work and reach the highway (around 8 kms.). As the traffic on the highway to Ooty is quite heavy, you will be transported to hotel in Ooty. Overnight
Day 8 :
Day 8 :
• Full day sightseeing of Ooty ( Lake , Botanical garden, Doddabetta Peak ) and Conoor ( Simis Park , Lambs Rock)including toy train between Ooty and Conoor.
• Overnight
Day 9 :
Day 9 :
• Drive back to Bangalore ( 350 km /8 hours)
